On March 1, the NBBA Web Team launched a new website to kick off the 2018 beep baseball season.
Built with storytelling and visual aesthetic in mind, the updated website features large photos, engaging content sections and a streamlined navigation menu. The site, which runs on WordPress, uses a custom theme designed and developed by Justin Romack (BCS Outlaws) and Rich Krussel (Colorado Storm.)
“We kept story and image at the forefront of our theme,” said Romack. “There’s so much grit and emotion in this game, and we knew our website had to spotlight and showcase it.”
The website will be released in three phases, to include a new look and feel (Phase 1), new content and story components (Phase 2,) and more interactive features (Phase 3) later this year.
“We want our players, the public and anyone who visits to know just how exciting beep baseball is.” said Romack. “We’re very pleased with this update and hope our league is just as pumped about it as we were in building it.”
